GSIS W@PS Kiosk, Itinayo Dito Sa San Pablo City


Si Area Manager Elsie Jacolbe Lising (dulong kanan) kasama sina Mayor’s Office Administrative Officer Emilio I. Tirones, City Accountant Lolita G. Cornista, at City Human Resource Officer Elvira A. Celerio matapos na mapasinayaan ang machine ng GSIS W@PS Kiosk sa One Stop Processing Center.



Upang maayos na mapaglingkuran ang mga kasapi ng Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) dito sa Lalawigan ng Laguna, ang korporasyon ay naglagay ng Wireless Automated Processing System (W@PS) Kiosk na pormal na binuksan sa One Stop Processing Center noong Lunes ng umaga, Enero 28, matapos na malagdaan ang isang memorandum of agreement na pinagtibay nina Mayor Vicente B. Amante sa panig ng pamahalaang lokal, at Area Manager Elsie Jacolbe Lising para sa Laguna Field Office, na sinaksihan nina City Councilor Arsenio A. Escudero Jr., City Prosecutor Gerardo B. Ilagan, City Budget Officer Lolita G. Cornista, City Human Resources Management Officer Elvira A. Celerio, at iba pang mga pinunong lunsod.




Ito ang ika-3 Kiosk na itinayo sa sakop ng Laguna, una ay sa Field Office sa Barangay Biñan sa Pagsanjan, ika-2 sa Lobby ng New Capitol Building sa Provincial Capitol Compound sa Sta. Cruz, ika-3 dito sa San Pablo City, ika-4 sa Groundfloor ng Student Union Building sa UPLB Campus na pormal na binuksan noong nakaraang Miyerkoles, Enero 30, at sa ika-5 ang sa City Museum sa City Hall Complex ng Sta. Rosa na binuksan noong nakaraang Huwebes, Enero 31...




Ayon kay Bb. Elsie J Lising, ang isang GSIS member, kasama na ang mga retirado o pensionado, sa pamamagitan ng kanilang eCard at diit ng daliri, sa tulong ng machine inilagay sa kiosk, ay maaaring usisain ang kanyang records sa GSIS, at magsagawa ng transaksyon, tulad ng pag-utang o paghiling ng loan. Hindi na nila kailangang magsadya pa sa GSIS Field Office sa Pagsanjan, sa halip ay sa pinakamalapit na G-W@PS Kiosk nila isasagawa ang pagpopreso ng hinihiling na utang o pagtatanong.



Gayon pa man, ipinaliwanag ni Lising na ang halagang napagtibay na utangin o proceeds of the loan na nakuha sa pamamagitan ng kosk ay sa mga ATM kukunin o wi-withdraw-hin. (Ben Taningco)

DOÑA LEONILA (MINI-FOREST) PARK

What is now known as Doña Leonila (Mini-Forest) Park overlooking the Sampaloc Lake is actually a portion of the site for the City Hall Complex purchased in 1937 by the Municipal Government of San Pablo headed by President Inocencio Barleta, which was partly developed after the termination of World War II under the administration of appointed City Mayor, Dr. Fernando A.
