Paghahanap ng “Diwata at Maharlika ng Pitong Lawa”

Pormal na ipinahayag ng Diwata at Maharlika Production na ang mga kandidata at kandidato sa paligsahan para sa pagpili ng “ Diwata at Maharlika ng Pinong Lawa” na itinataguyod ng ULTIMART Shopping Center, kung kalian ang mga mapipiling Diwata at Maharlika, at kanilang mga magiging dama at konsorte ay pararangalan sa darating na Marso 12, 2011.

     Sa pagka-Diwata ay sina Mariel C. Amorao ng Barangay Santo Niño, Katherine May Ramos ng Santo Angel; Paola Jean Tagulao ng San Rafael; Regine Joyce Bagsic ng Barangay Santa Monica; Diane Jay Ramirez ng Barangay II-B; Bernadette Reyes ng Barangay San Jose (Malamig); Phoebe May Panopio ng Barangay Del Remedio; Kris Ann Joy Soler ng Barangay III-F; Vina Jasmin ng Barangay San Gregorio; Frances Opulencia ng Barangay San o; Leslie Ann Latina ng Shetelig Avenue; Cherry Pose Blina ng Barangay San Pedro; Angelica Pangilinan ng Barangay Del Remedio; Rosan Jenina Robles ng Hernandez Street; at Jeremie Rivera ng Barangay San Isidro.

     Sa pagka-Maharlika ay sina Jaymond Bigalme ng Barangay San Pedro; Joemar Recto ng Barangay Bautista; Darwin Go ng Barangay San Gabriel; Kissyfur Salcedo ng Barangay II-C; Toni Wilson Gesmundo ng M. Leonor Street; Ronell Santiago ng Metropolis Village (Barangay San Gabriel); Mark Francisco Donato ng Barangay Santo Angel; Raymark Caponpon ng Barangay Santisimo Rosario; Mark Brianne Dikitanan ng Barangay Bagong Bayan; Walter Marthy Cosico ng Barangay San Lucas 2; Mark John Spalding ng Villa Lozada; Jexcel Cosico ng Santa Maria Magdalena; Christopher Baldonado ng Barangay San Ignacio; Paul John Kevin Antiporda ng Barangay San Ignacio; at Alberson Exconde ng Barangay

     Ang nabanggit na mga kandidata at kandidato ay pinili sa pamamagitan ng screening na ginanap noong Disyembre 28, 2010 at Enero 7, 2011 ng lupon na binubuo nina Karl P. Tolentino ng ABS-CBNL, Dra Annie E. Bagon; Robinson K. Cedre; Fermin Cornista, at kinatawan ng mga fashion designer sa Lalawigan ng Laguna. Ang timpalak na ito ay sa pangkalahatang koordinasyon nina Robinson K. Cedre at Aldrin L. Cacayan. (Ruben E. Taningco)

DOÑA LEONILA (MINI-FOREST) PARK

What is now known as Doña Leonila (Mini-Forest) Park overlooking the Sampaloc Lake is actually a portion of the site for the City Hall Complex purchased in 1937 by the Municipal Government of San Pablo headed by President Inocencio Barleta, which was partly developed after the termination of World War II under the administration of appointed City Mayor, Dr. Fernando A. Bautista. During the incumbency of elected Mayor Lauro D. Dizon Sr., with the help of the Rotary Club of San Pablo, and under the supervision of Dr. Juan B.
