Dr. Anita E. Quiatchon, Principal of the San Pablo Central School , said Justice Arturo D. Brion as accepted their invitation to be the principal guest and main speaker during their commencement exercises this coming Wednesday, April 1, 2009. The program will start at exactly 8:30 in the morning at the Central School Stadium. A native of this city, Justice Brion himself is an alumnus of the San Pablo Central School being the valedictorian of the class that graduated in 1959. His parents, the late Trial Judge Edon Brion, and the former Laura Dizon are also graduates of this school.

The winning entry in the 2009 Aquatic Technology Competition (ATCOM) sponsored by the Philippine Council for Aquatic and Marine Research and Developmant (PCAMRD) is the improved processing and packaging of fermented mudfish (burong dalag) entered by researchers based at Pangasinan State University (Bayambang Campus). They received a cash reward of P150,000 during the commemoration of the 21 st Anniversary of the council. In the pictures are (from left) Executive Director Rafael D.
