SIM-along Concert Sa Sun Star Mall

Ang Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company, sa pakikipagtulungan ng San Miguel Corporation, ay itataguyod ang “SIM-Along Cencert With Hale and Sponge Cola” sa darating na Sabado, Setyembre 20, 2008 sa Parking Lot ng Sunstar Mall sa kahabaan ng National Highway sa Barangay Bubucal dito, simula sa ganap na ika-7:00 ng gabi sang-ayon kina Marketing Officers Cynthia P. Agramon at Mou Urriquia Ereve.

Ito ay isang magandang pagkakataon para makapaglibang at maaliw sa pamamagitan ng pakikinig ng mga naiibang makasining na pag-aawitan at pagtutugtugan o to watch live performances of pop, acoustic and alternative music.

Upang makapasok sa concert na magtatampok sa mga kilalang grupo ng manunugtog at mang-aawit sa Kalakhang Maynila, ang kinakailangan lamang ay bumili ng PLDT SIM Card na nagkakahalaga ng P150. Ang nabanggit na SIM Card ay mayroon ng P50-load, at pagkakalooban ng isang boteng ice-cold San Miguel Beer.

Ayon kay Bb. Cynthia P. Agramon, kanilang ipakikilala ang bagong produkto na tinatawag nilang PLDT Landline Plus Prepaid Card, na ipasok lamang sa isang “open cellphone” at mayroon ng isang instant kabit ng isang lineline o telepono upang makatawag sa mga telepono o landlines saan mang lunsod o bayan sa sakop ng Laguna sa halagang P1 bawa’t minuto. Puede pa ring magpadala ng text messages mula rito. Ito ay nakatatanggap din ng mga incoming calls.

Ang SIM Car ay Subscriber Identify Module Card na nagsasaad ng mga impormasyong personal tulad ng PIN number at naka-memory na mga numero ng telepono na malimit o laging dapat tawagan. (Ben Taningco)

Miss Philippines-USA 2004-2005, Barbara Jean Chumacera Apostol, 27, passed the New York State’s examination for admission to the BAR given on July 24-25, 2007 . She attained her law degree at Hofstra University School of Law in the State of New York where she graduated with honors last May 20, 2007 . At Hofstra Law School , Barbara was the Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and was appointed to the position of Diversity Affairs Coordinator by the president of the Student Bar Association. Ms. Apostol was a 2002 cum luade graduate of Boston College, one of the oldest Jesuit University in the United States with campus in Chestbut Hill, Massachusetts, where she majored in pre-law and communication studies.
