San Pablo City 2010 Elected Officials

SAN PABLO CITY - Ang mga nagsipagwagi para sa mga tungkuling panglokal dito ay pormal na ipinoroklama noong Martes ng gabi matapos na ang kopya ng mga certificate of canvass ay matamo ang indikasyon na ito ay “successfully transmitted” sa mga kaukulang tanggapan o ahensya ng Commission on Elections, gaya ng itinatagubilin sa Manual of Procedures na sinusunod sa pagsasagawa ng canvassing of votes.

     Bahagyang nabalam ang paghahanda ng mga certificate of canvass dahilan sa 29 na yunit ng Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) Machine ay hindi kaagad mabuksan, na kinakailangan pang ihatid sa Session Hall ng Sangguniang Panglunsod na pinagdarausan ng canvassing. Ang City Board of Canvasser ay binubuo nina Atty. Leah Angeli B. Vasquez-Abad ng COMELEC Law Department na gumanap na Chairman, City Prosecutor Dominador A. Leyros na gumanap na co-chairman, and City Schools Division Superintendent Enric T. Sanchez na gumanap member-secretary. Mga official watchers sina Atty. Esperidion Gajitos para sa LAKAS KAMPI CMD, Bb. Sharon Ilaw-Santonia para sa Nationalist Peoples Coalition, at G. Edwin E. Aguilon para sa Liberal Party.

     Ang naproklama ay sina Reelected Mayor Vicente B. Amante na nagtamo ng 62,248 boto; City Councilor Angelita L. Erasmo-Yang sa pagka-Vice Mayor na nagtamo ng 56,168 boto. Ang mga nahalal sa pagka-City Councilors ay sina (1) Angelo L. Adriano, 42,238 boto; (2) Dante B. Amante, 39,546 boto; (3) Richard C. Pavico, 39,337 boto; (4) Rondel A. Diaz, 35,933 boto; (5) Edgardo D. Adajar, 35,623 boto; (6) Eduardo O. Dizon, 34,931 boto; (7) Leopoldo M. Colago, 33,527 boto; (8) Arnel Cabrera Ticzon, 33,087 boto; (9) Enrico B. Galicia, 30,228 boto; at (10) Alejandro Y. Yu, 30,043 boto.

      Sila ay pormal na magsisimula sa kanilang bagong panunungkulan simula sa tanghaling tapat ng araw ng Miyerkoles, Hunyo 30, 2010, at magtatapos sa Hunyo 30, 2013. (Ruben E. Taningco)

  2. Do you really think our LGU really cares? How many decades has the drugs been circulating in our city unabated? San Pablo has been known to be a major producer and in the forefront in the Pharmaceutical industry, in case you are not aware.

  3. Do you think our local officials really care about the drug problems? Didn't you know that they worked hard to make San Pablo known a Pharmaceutical capital of Laguna. He! He! He! "Only in the Philippines, I love this country!!"

Miss Philippines-USA 2004-2005, Barbara Jean Chumacera Apostol, 27, passed the New York State’s examination for admission to the BAR given on July 24-25, 2007 . She attained her law degree at Hofstra University School of Law in the State of New York where she graduated with honors last May 20, 2007 . At Hofstra Law School , Barbara was the Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and was appointed to the position of Diversity Affairs Coordinator by the president of the Student Bar Association. Ms. Apostol was a 2002 cum luade graduate of Boston College, one of the oldest Jesuit University in the United States with campus in Chestbut Hill, Massachusetts, where she majored in pre-law and communication studies.
