JOBS FAIR PARA SA LOCAL AND FOREIGN PLACEMENTS

SAN PABLO CITY - Sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-Region IV-A, pag-alinsunod sa palatuntunang panglipunan ni Mayor Vicente B. Amante, ang Public Employment Services Office (PESO) sa lunsod na ito ay magtataguyod ng Jobs Fair for Local and Abroad sa darating na Biyernes, Agosto 24, 2007, simula sa ika-8:00 hanggang ika-4:00 ng hapon, sa Multi-Purpose Covered Court (PAMANA Hall) sa City Hall Complex.

Sang-ayon kay City Administrator and concurrent PESO Manager Loreto S. Amante, ang katangian ng mga dapat lumahok sa jobs fair ay may gulang na mula sa 18 taon pataas, at nakapagtapos ng pag-aaral sa kolehiyo, subali’t ang mga nasa junior year na sa kolehiyo ay maaari na ring isaalang-alang. Makabubuti ring magdala sila ng mga sumusunod: bio-data o personal resume na may kalakip na larawang may sukat na 2” x 2”, birth certificate na kaloob ng Local Civil Registrar na pinatutunayan ng National Statistic Office’ at NBI Clearance na kinakailanagan sa local and foreign placements. Kung Gawain sa labas ng bansa ang hinahangad ay dalahin na rin ang kanilang valid passport.

DOÑA LEONILA (MINI-FOREST) PARK

What is now known as Doña Leonila (Mini-Forest) Park overlooking the Sampaloc Lake is actually a portion of the site for the City Hall Complex purchased in 1937 by the Municipal Government of San Pablo headed by President Inocencio Barleta, which was partly developed after the termination of World War II under the administration of appointed City Mayor, Dr. Fernando A. Bautista. During the incumbency of elected Mayor Lauro D. Dizon Sr., with the help of the Rotary Club of San Pablo, and under the supervision of Dr. Juan B.
