KABATAANG KUMIKILOS

ALAMINOS, Laguna - Bilang tagapangulo ng Committee on Parks and Public Cemetery, nabanggit ni Konsehal Jeyson Carpena Abu na sinisimulan na ng isang lupong binuo ni Mayor Eladio M. Magampon ang kinakailangang mga paghahanda upang maayos na maipagdiwang ang Araw ng mga Patay sa bayang ito.

     Sa dahilang ang mga libingan sa bayang ito ay parehong nasa Barangay Dos, at makipot lamang ang daanang papasok dito, apektado ng pagkakaroon ng konsentrasyon ng dumadalaw na mga tao sa libingan ang daloy ng trapiko sa kahabaan ng Poblacion Section ng  Maharlika Highway, kaya kinakailangang ang daloy ng trapiko ng mga sasakyang nagdaraang sa pambansang lansangan ay maayos na pinangangasiwaan, na upang ito ay maipatupad ay kinakailangan ang pagtatatag ng maayos na mga monitoring stations sa Barangay San Juan, at sa Barangay San Agustin, upang ang mga motoristang nagbibiyahe sa pag-itan ng San Pablo City at Santo Tomas na  wala namang kailangan sa Poblacion ay sa alternate road na lamang magdaaan, paalaala ni Konsehal Abu.

     Bilang pinakabatang halal na konsehal, abala rin si Konsehal Abu sa pagtulong kay SK Federation President Rafael Magampon Castro sa pangangasiwa sa Municipal Youth Basketball Team na lumahok sa First Intertown Basketball Tournament na itinataguyod ni Gobernador Jeorge “ER” Ejercito Estregan. Passed the BAR Examination in the State of New York, U. S. A.

Miss Philippines-USA 2004-2005, Barbara Jean Chumacera Apostol, 27, passed the New York State’s examination for admission to the BAR given on July 24-25, 2007 . She attained her law degree at Hofstra University School of Law in the State of New York where she graduated with honors last May 20, 2007 . At Hofstra Law School , Barbara was the Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and was appointed to the position of Diversity Affairs Coordinator by the president of the Student Bar Association. Ms. Apostol was a 2002 cum luade graduate of Boston College, one of the oldest Jesuit University in the United States with campus in Chestbut Hill, Massachusetts, where she majored in pre-law and communication studies.
