SPCSHS ANNOUNCEMENT

High School Science and Mathematics Supervisor Helen A. Ramos, in her capacity as officer-in-charge of the San Pablo City Science High School (SPCSHS), announces that they are now open for interested applicants for adminission as first year students this coming School Year 2009-2010 and be members of 5th Batch of graduates of this institution.

The requirements are:
  • Fully accomplished application form (available at SPCSHS campus, tel no. 800-0904) with 1x1 picture.
  • One (1) white self-stamp envelope
  • Certification from the school principal that the applicant belongs to the upper 20% of the graduating class.
  • Photocopy of the report card.
Deadline of submission of requirements will be on January 28, 2009, and the date for the first screening examination will be on January 31, 2009.

DOÑA LEONILA (MINI-FOREST) PARK

What is now known as Doña Leonila (Mini-Forest) Park overlooking the Sampaloc Lake is actually a portion of the site for the City Hall Complex purchased in 1937 by the Municipal Government of San Pablo headed by President Inocencio Barleta, which was partly developed after the termination of World War II under the administration of appointed City Mayor, Dr. Fernando A. Bautista. During the incumbency of elected Mayor Lauro D. Dizon Sr., with the help of the Rotary Club of San Pablo, and under the supervision of Dr. Juan B.
