PHILHEALTH DAPAT TULUNGAN PARA MAKATULONG

 CALAM BA CITY -  Nagpapaalaala si Chief Social Insurance Officer Arturo Ardiente sa lahat ng kasapi ng Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) na tiyaking maayos o updated ang kanilang Member Data Record at huwag lamang itong isaayos kung kailan ito kakailanganin na. Halimbawa ay kung kailan lalabas na ng paggamutan.

     Kailanganing tiyaking nakatala na ang lahat ng kinakailangang datus sa Member Data Record, tulad ng pangalan ng miyembro, at ng mga kuwalipikadong dependent, tulad ng mga bata pang anak, at mga magulang na mahigit ng 60 taon.

     Ayon kay Ardiente, upang ang miyembro ay makapagtamo ng maagap na paglilingkod ng PhilHealth Service Center, halimbawa  ang maagang pagbabayad sa kabayaran sa pagpapagamot sa isang ospital, dapat na tinitiyak ng miyembro na kompleto ang datus na nakatala sa kanilang Member Data Record.  Iminumungkahi rin na ang original copy ng kanilang dokumento ay mayroong photo copy o zeroxed copy, upang ang kopya ang siya na lamang iiwan sa ospital, at ang orihinal ay palagian na nilang iingatan, para ito na lamang ang ipakopya kung muling may papasok sa pagamutan.

     Ipinagugunita ni Ardiente na ang PhilHealth ay may pananagutan sa kanilang mga miyembro, pero, ang mga miyembro ay mayroon ding pananagutang makipagtulungan upang sila ay maayos na mapaglingkuran at matulungan. (Ruben E.  Taningco)

Passed the BAR Examination in the State of New York, U. S. A.

Miss Philippines-USA 2004-2005, Barbara Jean Chumacera Apostol, 27, passed the New York State’s examination for admission to the BAR given on July 24-25, 2007 . She attained her law degree at Hofstra University School of Law in the State of New York where she graduated with honors last May 20, 2007 . At Hofstra Law School , Barbara was the Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and was appointed to the position of Diversity Affairs Coordinator by the president of the Student Bar Association.
