COMPUTER VAN ARALAN NI CONG IVY ARAGO, NASA VICTORIA NA


VICTORIA, Laguna- Kaugnay sa nalalapit na Itik Festival sa bayang ito sa Nobyembre ay maghahandog sina Congresswoman Ma. Evita Arago at Mayor Raul “Nonong” R. Gonzales sa mga residenteng nais matuto ng computer basic operations sa pamamagitan ng computer van aralan. 

    Ang pre-festival computer literacy training program ay maisasakatuparan sa tulong ng Ai-Hu Foundation at TESDA-Laguna kung saan ang gagamitin ay literal  na van na naikombert bilang classroom at naglalaman ng 21 makabagong computer. 

    Hindi na bago sa distirito ang naturang van aralan sapagkat nang nakaraang mga buwan ng Pebrero at Abril taong kasalukuyan ay humigit kumulang sa 300 ang nagsipagtapos dito nang unang itaguyod ni Cong. Arago sa Lunsod ng San Pablo. 

    Natigil lang ito dahil sa pagsunod ng mambabatas sa election ban na ipinag-uutos ng COMELEC. 

    Nananawagan sina Cong Arago at Mayor Gonzales sa mga interesadong matuto na magpatala ng maaga sapagkat limitado ang bilang ng mga mag-aaral na maaaring tanggapin. 

     Bukas ang pagsasanay sa mga istudyante, mga kawani, housewife,  ano man ang edad.  Ang interview sa mga aplikante ay sa Agost 27, 2010, 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 5:00 ng hapon sa munisipyo ng bayang ito.  Magsisimula ang klase sa Setyembre 6 hanggang Nobyembre.

DOÑA LEONILA (MINI-FOREST) PARK

What is now known as Doña Leonila (Mini-Forest) Park overlooking the Sampaloc Lake is actually a portion of the site for the City Hall Complex purchased in 1937 by the Municipal Government of San Pablo headed by President Inocencio Barleta, which was partly developed after the termination of World War II under the administration of appointed City Mayor, Dr. Fernando A.
