Tesorero ng Dolores, Quezon, Collecting Agent ng PhilHealth

     Sa bisa ng isang Memorandum of Agreement na pinagtibay ng Pangasiwaang Munisipal ng Dolores, Quezon na kinatawan ni Mayor Renato A. Alilio, M.D, at Philippine Health Insurance Corporation-Region IV-A na kinatawan ni Assistant Vice President Orlando D. Iñigo Jr., ay maaari nang magbayad ng kontribusyon sa Municipal Treasurer’s Office ng  nabanggit na munisipyo  simula noong nakaraang Enero 10, 2011, at ito ay walang pagtatangi kung ang premium na babayaran ay para sa Sponsored Program, o sa Individually Paying Program,  o sa Employed Sector Program sang-ayon kay Bb. Maria Teresa Alba, Officer-in-Charge ng PhilHealth Lucena City Service Center.

     Napag-alamang si Gng. Aurora A. de Gracia, ingat yaman ng pangasiwaang bayan ng Dolores, ay sumailalim na ng oryentasyon sa tulong nina Jofre Silvala, Frances Jorvina, Maria Imelda Gonzalez, at Moises Soriano, mga social insurance membership officer,  sa proseso ng pagbabayad, dokumentong kailangan,  at ang paggawa ng kaukulang financial reports. 

     Aayon kay Alba, magsisilbing official receipt ng mga miyembrong magbabayad sa munisipyo ang ipinagkakaloob nilang PhilHealth Agent’s Receipt (PAR). 

     Ang Ingat Yaman ng Munisipalidad ng Dolores ang ika-walong Local Government Unit (LGU) sa Lalawigan ng Quezon na naging Accredited Collecting Agent na sakop ng PhilHealth Regional Office IV-A (PhRO IV-A).  Nauna nang nabigyan ng akreditasyon ang mga Munisipalidad ng Perez, Tagkawayan, San Narciso, Unisan, Calauag, Catanauan at Guinayangan.

     Patuloy na nakikipag-ugnayan ang PhRO IV-A sa iba pang LGUs ayon kay Alba upang mas mailalapit ang serbisyo nito sa lahat ng miyembro ng National Health Insurance Program (NHIP). 

     Samantala, may ulat na tinanggap si Vice President Orlando D. Iñigo Jr., na sa Alaminos, Laguna, ay maraming Individually Paying Member ang nasisiyahang ang Postmaster ng Philippine Postal Corporation sa nabanggit na munisipyo ay accredited collecting agent ng PhilHealt, sapagka’t doon ay hindi nila nararanasan ang pumila, tulad ng karaniwan nilang nararanasan kung sa bangko sila magbabayad ng premium.(PhilHealth-IV-A/Jane Dimaano).

DOÑA LEONILA (MINI-FOREST) PARK

What is now known as Doña Leonila (Mini-Forest) Park overlooking the Sampaloc Lake is actually a portion of the site for the City Hall Complex purchased in 1937 by the Municipal Government of San Pablo headed by President Inocencio Barleta, which was partly developed after the termination of World War II under the administration of appointed City Mayor, Dr. Fernando A.
